My mum and I went shopping today! :D
Well, first we took an MRT to Outram to visit my grandpa in hospital, after that, it was raining and my mum wanted to try out another route to go to Crescent and I was like so happy that it's raining. Then my mum was like,"Redhill there won't be raining." Then I asked her what if it is, then she said that she has an unbrella and asked me not to try to change her plans. LOL. -.-" So we took an MRT to Redhill MRT, where we walked to Crescent. It look around 10 minutes to walk there. So yeah, I know another way to get to Crescent! :D And believe it or not, it didn't rain at Redhill and once we finished walking and boarded the bus, it RAINED. My mum was like,"See, the rain stop for you to walk." LOL.
After that, we took 111 to Orchard MRT. Actually we wanted to go to Dhoby Ghaut MRT but the road was closed so we alighted at Orchard MRT instead. Then we went to Toa Payoh to shop! :D We went to popular first, where I bought two books, two pens and a packet of correction tape. After that, we went to buy my bag. It only took like...10 minutes and I already bought quite a lot of stuff. I bought two converse bags. One backpack and one sling bag. The backpack cost $29 and the sling bag cost $37. All discounted! :D And I bought a pair of slippers which cost $7.90. The sole of my old slippers are like worn out and it is so flat so whenever it rains, I'll slip. LOL. Like at Orchard, that embarressing incident, I almost slipped too, when I was walking home. haha. Then we went to Bata where I looked for shoes, but there were none so we went to a coffee shop for drinks and rojak! :D After that, we took a bus back home, where we went to Heartland Mall.
First, we went to the Bata at heartland mall to find shoes, but I didn't see one that I liked. Then we went to World of Sports, still no shoes, then we went to another sports shop, no shoes. After that, we went to a shoe shop and I saw one Adidas shoe that I liked and it fit the criteria for Crescent school shoes. Crescent is like so strict and restricted lah. Only 70% white shoes, the other colours can only be black, blue or grey and if the logo isn't one of those colours, it musn't be bigger than a 50cent coin. Woah. Anyway, yeah, that shoe cost $99, and my mum refused to buy it for me. Then we walked around that shop, still no shoe. And she said she'll consider that $99 shoe. YAY. She said she'll bring me to Penninsula Plaza where there are loads more shoes and there are lots of jeans too and the shoes are much cheaper. Yepp. So I didn't find my shoes. Actually I saw lots that I like lah..like 5 pairs. But they were all green...pink...purple. So cannot buy! GRR. And another one was like...$119. So my mum refused to buy. LOL.
Anyway, I'm going to Christmas dinner at Hong Lim park or something. There'll be lion dance and Wushu performance. BORING. Yepp, I got to go...parents rushing me already, so, yeah, MERRY XMAS again! :D
